I began photographing
with my ex-husband’s Nikon on our honeymoon in I had one woman shows at the Park West YMCA and Public Libraries in NY and participated in group shows at the UN and at Cold Harbor Art Gallery with the Sierra Club Photographic Group. Things transformed by light, fog, smoke or perspective excite me. Insects, animals and people in action too. I try to act on each impulse to photograph, because getting critical stops the flow of the unconscious part of the process, the “functional awe.” I’ve converted mostly to digital because of its instant feedback.
