My fascination with
photography began in the late 1940’s, when my father taught me to use his
Argus C3, 35mm camera. Shortly thereafter, I bought a 2 ¼ x 3 ¼ Speed
Graphic and set up a home darkroom to make prints. It is sixty years later
and I have totally embraced digital photography with a Nikon D300 camera and
a digital darkroom featuring an Epson 4880 printer. My photography interests
and subject types include just about everything. I have not settled on a
specialty. I have taken photographs in all seven continents and have
attended several shooting workshops throughout the United States. In 2006, I
joined the Focus Group Camera Club because I wanted to be with a group of
experienced photographers so that I could learn from experts and share my
experiences in an enjoyable way.
